Why Do Video Games Make You Smarter

It is quite baffling how the video game has emerged as a favorite pastime of many video game lovers. According to a report by Popular Science, video games can reduce dementia and obesity.

According to a study conducted by the University of Southern California (USC), people who played more video games showed enhanced brain connectivity compared to people who didn’t play games.

They also showed improvements in things such as spatial-temporal reasoning, emotional processing, and visual attention.

The study’s findings were reported in Nature. The study aimed to look into the relationship between brain structure and the level of visual attention that people with different visual abilities showed.

The researchers studied two different groups: video gamers and non-gamers. The scientists assessed the players’ attention using a visual attention task called the Usability of Visual Attention Scale (UVISAS).

The video gamers had scores in the same range of controls, while the non-gamers scored lower than the controls.

In 2015, a research group from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, published a study in the journal Nature Neuroscience.

The team conducted a brain scan of almost two thousand people to look at the effects of video games on the brain.

They looked at the players’ brain structure and the amount of grey matter in their brains.

As per the news report, they showed that the connections between various parts of the brain increased with the amount of playing a video game.

Furthermore, a study conducted by the University of Texas, Austin, and Vanderbilt University showed that the brain regions used for language, math, and motion were strengthened as gamers age.

In an earlier study published in 2013, researchers from the German University of Cologne looked at people’s brain activity while they played various video games such as Street Fighter II, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Final Fantasy XV.

The research group looked at the brain activity of people who had suffered a traumatic brain injury or were at an intermediate level of brain activity.

They found out that people with injuries were less likely to be able to remember the positions of multiple objects.

They also found that the brain activity of people at an intermediate level of brain activity was more lateralized to the left side of the brain, as opposed to people who were at the top of their level of activity.

They concluded that this would explain the difference in how people play games at different stages of their lives.

This finding is quite shocking because lateralization of brain activity can be seen as a negative aspect as it can be the cause of a serious disorder. However, this finding shows that it isn’t that bad.

If you’re serious about playing video games and improving your brain, then it is important to understand the importance of your brain. You can watch videos on how to improve your brain health.

A recent study in Sweden, as well as a few previous ones, clearly indicate that playing video games will enhance learning abilities.

The results showed that playing video games can significantly increase spatial ability. This is important as spatial ability is an important characteristic to have in a child because it allows a child to analyze, visualize and make sense of the world.

Spatial ability refers to the ability of someone to use their spatial thinking to understand how different objects are connected and how to find a location in the world that is easy to locate.

It has to do with the individual's ability to evaluate and visualize things.

A study conducted in Brazil shows that video games can lead to improved motor skills and self-esteem.

It found that children who played video games reported higher self-esteem than those who did not.

According to the study, girls who played video games had improved self-esteem compared to those who did not.

So girls may experience higher self-esteem if they play video games due to their improved motor skills. It has to do with increased coordination and speed when playing video games.

Motor skills and self-esteem are two important skills that are highly important in children.

When you play video games, you increase your attention span, your motor skills and strengthen your self-esteem.

Not only do video games improve spatial ability and motor skills, but they also help improve critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

A study that was conducted with a group of children found that playing video games increased analytical abilities and the ability to make inferences.

Critical thinking involves taking time to think about a problem before you act. If a problem occurs, the player has to make a mental list of possible solutions and decide which is best for the situation.

The children who played video games were found to be more strategic thinkers.

This means that they have more mental flexibility and are more likely to think creatively about a situation and come up with a solution to the problem.
